Azelaic acid + metronidazole + ivermectin formula is a topical medication used to treat rosacea while reducing breakouts and facial redness. Azelaic acid is a topical anti-inflammatory medication used to treat rosacea and acne. It improves redness and reduces dark spots associated with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  • This medication works best to prevent breakouts, not as a spot treatment.
  • For the first 1-2 weeks, use this formula every other night. Once your skin adjusts to the cream, you can start using it every night as tolerated.

HOW TO USE

  • Dot a pea-sized amount of your topical treatment on your forehead, cheeks, and chin.
  • Evenly spread the treatment across your face. Avoid your eyelids and the corners of your nose and mouth.
  • Apply a moisturizer either immediately before or after you apply your topical treatment.
  • If your skin becomes irritated, reduce frequency of use. If the irritation persists, stop the medication and contact your dermatology team.

SIDE EFFECTS

  • The most common side effects of this medication is redness, dryness, stinging, mild burning, irritation or oiliness, peeling and sun sensitivity. Skin irritation usually goes away during the course of the treatment.
  • You may experience a burning sensation that lasts about 10 minutes when first starting this medication. This side effect typically goes away after the first week.
